Nightoftheharpy
These are concepts and keyframes I designed for a personal project. The world I wanted to create is a world where humans and the giant harpies share the place at the top of the food chain.
In the design of the Harpie it was important to me to show the creature in a different way than you know it from the usual fantasy. I was inspired by the old Polish novel "Ronja Räubertocher" (German title).

I also had the idea that the rich of this world can protect themselves and their children in their stone buildings from the attacks of the harpies. The poor especially the children are helplessly exposed to these creatures.
